What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach that effectively treats trauma and stress through an eight-phase process. By using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, sound, or tactile stimulation), EMDR activates the brain's innate healing system. This method enables us to gentle reprocessing painful memories that may be contributing to our current pain and barriers. EMDR enables us to desensitize current triggers and supports us in achieving a satisfying life that we can feel truly present for.
